  Interviews
Posted by Karl on Sunday December 01, @03:02PM
I've been doing a lot of interviews lately, culminating in a recent one with Locus Magazine that's not published yet. Here's a list of them, including links to those that are on-line.

While I was at Readercon last summer, Ernest Lilley of SF Revu sat me down and we talked about a wide range of things, from growing up Mennonite to how I work. The resulting interview is on-line here.

Another recent interview was with Alex von Thorne for SFSite. That one can be found here.

The Parisian French magazine SF Magazine is publishing a print interview with me in the current issue. The Locus interview will likewise only be available in the print edition of the magazine.

My most recent interview was with the guys at Challenging Destiny. I was actually "on" that day, so you'll find some hints there about my latest project--eg. where I say, "imagine a world in which we’ve fully developed all the technologies that are relevant to human existence and then for us to turn around and say, “How do we want to live?” Having said that, a set of technologies appropriate to that mode of life present themselves. You implement those, and you exclude the rest. And that is the only way that you achieve the kind of life that you want."

The complete text of that interview is available here.
