Toronto SpecFic Colloquium
Canadian speculative fiction (science fiction, fantasy, and horror) has been recognized internationally for the calibre of its authors. At their best, these stories provide glimpses of alternate realities and possible futures and pasts that provoke an ethical, social, political, environmental and biological inquiry into what it means to be human. We will run ten 45-minute lectures from 10 AM - 8:00 PM. Our authors will be "off leash" so expect some some lively debate! From 8:00 PM until midnight, join us for a cash bar and author readings from our cabal of talented writers including special guest, Guy Gavriel Kay.
